I started back in 2020 during Covid, when I had free time on my hands. I first bought fabric from fabric stores, and made samples and body styles.
Once things started to pick up with small pop ups, night markets and Facebook marketplace, then we started to do things more in depth and at a larger scale.
Today, we have about 15 employees mostly women at our factory in Bali Indonesia. We have 3 men for all the heavy lifting and fabric cutting at the factory.
I work with 2 printing companies. One is strictly hand done, from dying, washing and drying. They do use organic dyes and spring mountain water for environmental proposes because they live right next to the printing shop.
Fabrics with more colors and with fine lines need to be done with machine for accuracy. The other printing company completes our digital printing and are sustainable and ethically certified in Bali with zero to no waste. They are one of the first, if not the only eco-friendly digital printing company in Bali Indonesia.
